Plateau Wireless Deploys the Velleros Aggregation and Syndication Technology (VAST) Platform

New Mexico-based carrier launches a content notification platform to meet Commercial Mobile Alert System (CMAS) requirements, as well as offer new revenue-generating applications

April 26, 2010 – Plateau Wireless, a subsidiary of Eastern New Mexico Rural (ENMR) Telephone Cooperative, announced today that it has purchased and is in the process of deploying the VAST platform from Velleros to deliver CMAS and mass notification to their customers. The solution is also being utilized for local content delivery services and is clear evidence of Plateau’s commitment to providing communications services that deliver indisputable value and differentiation in the community.
